My host was prompt and eager to teach, I could tell right away that they were passionate about their craft. I learnt a lot in just a few short hours and even managed to capture a few images that I was very pleased with. All in all I'm very please with the class and host, both of which I would highly recommend

I came to Freshwater Bay specifically in the hope of capturing some wave shots. I came a week before by bike and without a camera and saw some amazing waves. On this day I actually nearly got knocked off my feet by a huge wave hitting the sea wall, my camera and clothes were soaked. Luckily the camera a Sony RX10iv was undamaged. F4, 4000fps. Just added a little contrast and shadow in Capture One

I had setup with my tripod to take some long exposure photo's as the sun came up. Just as I was packing up I noticed 2 paddle boarders moving towards the distant sun. I took my ND filter off and ran along the beach holding the camera and tripod, trying to time it as the boarders would pass the sun. This photo isn't cropped and hasn't had any post processing. It is straight out of camera and for once, I think I nailed it.

I was testing out a new backdrop that I purchased for a family mini Christmas shoot that I have coming up. I used to make my children be my models but since they are grown Zeus, my boxer, was such a good boy and was my model. This was shot on a Canon EOS 6D with the EF 24-105mm f/4L at 24mm, ISO 320, 1/160. I used two Alien B800 strobes with white umbrellas.
